Cator is an environmental services company focused on collecting and recycling used mineral oil. Their logistics system comprises the whole of Catalonia, so the tank trucks are their most visible elements.

We designed a simple identity system where turquoise colour makes the trucks easily recognizable. The logo and the illustrations are based on a language of circles and play with the idea of oil drops: used oil looks black, while clean oil looks yellow. The various messages are put in context by using simple geometric forms, such as “We turn every 3 litres of used oil into 2 litres of new oil”, “Industrial oil can be regenerated forever” and “Regenerate oil, preserve the natural resources”. The campaign was applied to posters, the back of trucks and t-shirts for the workforce.
