L’om, in Catalan, refers to the elm tree, an abundant species in Serra d’Almos (Tivissa, Tarragona), where this wine from the D.O. Monstant is elaborated. There are two varieties of L’om, according to the wine ageing: jove (young) and criança (vintage). As a starting point, we looked at the traditional procedure of determining the age of a tree, that is to say, counting the rings on its log. The line of labels and packaging is based on a lettering that links the age of the wine to the age of the tree, by the means of colour and the repetition of rings.
